WELCOME TO THE CORNER HOUSE, WRIGHTINGTON
Corner House is the new name for The Mulberry Tree in Wrightington. New owner-managers Ross Lawson and Helen Hunter decided on the new name after giving the interior of this historic building a much needed facelift.
The building, located in a semi-rural setting just a short drive from Junction 27 (Standish) on the M6, dates back to the 1830’s and has been a hostelry, wheelwrights and blacksmiths. During recent years, The Mulberry Tree developed into an award-winning pub-restaurant. Ross and Helen intend to build on this excellent reputation by bringing their own experience and individual skills to the venue.
There are exciting plans for the future, including an expansion of the range of Real Ales on offer, special themed menu evenings, and monthly live music events.
